Dr. Marshall H. Chin, MD, MPH, Richard Parrillo Family Professor of Healthcare Ethics in the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago, is a general internist with extensive experience improving the care of vulnerable patients with chronic disease.  He is Director of the RWJF Finding Answers: Solving Disparities Through Payment and Delivery System Reform Program Office. Dr. Chin co-chairs the National Quality Forum Disparities Standing Committee that recommended to CMS how to achieve health equity through performance measurement and payment reform via A Roadmap for Promoting Health Equity and Eliminating Disparities: The 4 I’s for Health Equity. Dr. Chin serves on the Institute for Medicaid Innovation National Advisory Board, Families USA Health Equity and Value Task Force Advisory Council, National Advisory Council to NIMHD, and the CDC Community Preventive Services Task Force.  He was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2017.
