Henry Wei (Google) Henry Wei, MD, is a Medical Director at Google, for the Health Product & Research team. He was also Google’s first Benefits/Health Plan Medical Director and led direct ACO and other value-based care work.
Prior to this, he served the White House as a Presidential Innovation Fellow where he worked on project Blue Button; led Aetna’s Innovation Labs where he worked on real-world evidence generation, digital health, and telemedicine; served as senior Medical Director for R&D at ActiveHealth/Aetna where he worked on claims & clinical analytics for quality programs; and was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Dr. Wei is faculty at Cornell, where he also earned his M.D. and completed his Internal Medicine training. He received both his undergraduate and master’s degree at Harvard and has completed additional medical informatics training at Harvard and Stanford.
