Shannon Sartin (HHS/CMS) Shannon Sartin is the Executive Director of the U.S. Digital Service at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Under her leadership, the Digital Service team has successfully deployed modern data submission tools for clinicians, developed infrastructure for sharing health information impacting 35 million beneficiaries, and is rebuilding the claims processing infrastructure responsible for over $500 billion in payments per year. Ms. Sartin also leads MyHealthEData, the CMS Administrator’s policy initiative focused on improving health data interoperability across the industry.
Prior to joining the U.S. Digital Service, Ms. Sartin held a number of leadership roles at technology companies, founded a successful startup, and served as a Contracting Officer with the Indian Health Service.
