Mark Friedberg is Senior Vice President of Performance Measurement & Improvement at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. In his previous role as a health services researcher at RAND, Dr. Friedberg led multiple projects to measure, evaluate, and improve health system performance. Dr. Friedberg is also a general internist who provides primary care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Friedberg completed his residency and fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School, MPP degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and BA from Swarthmore College.
