Chuck Chervitz (Centene Corporation) Chuck Chervitz is corporate regional vice president of payment innovation at Centene Corporation based in St. Louis, Missouri. Chuck has over 25 years of health care experience, with over 15 years in managed care and value-based programs.
At Centene since 2018, Chuck is responsible for designing and implementing Centene’s value-based program, Center of Excellence. This includes building and designing value-based models, reporting, contracts, support infrastructure, performance improvement strategies, and negotiation playbooks.
Before joining Centene, Chuck held regional and national leadership roles in finance and payment innovation at UnitedHealthcare for 12 years. His primary responsibility during this period was to build and manage UnitedHealthcare’s national Medicare Advantage incentive program.
Before moving into managed care, Chuck held various finance and contracting leadership roles in large health systems, acute-care hospitals, and national specialty hospital companies.
Chuck started his career in public accounting and is a CPA. He is a graduate of Saint Louis University and resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
