Dr. Sachin Jain (SCAN Group and Health Plan) Sachin H. Jain, M.D., M.B.A, is president and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plans, serving more than 270,000 members across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Previously, Dr. Jain was president and CEO of CareMore and Aspire Health. He also served as the global chief medical information and innovation officer at Merck & Co. and worked in the Obama Administration as senior advisor to Donald Berwick when Dr. Berwick led the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and as the first deputy director for policy and programs at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMS Innovation Center).
Dr. Jain is an adjunct professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine, has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, and is a regular contributor to Forbes. He is a member of the boards of Cardiovascular Systems Inc., Biofourmis, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
